Fintan O’Regan Fintan is an internationally acclaimed presenter and consultant in behaviour, learning and motivation working both within the Education and Health sectors. As well as providing his expertise to audiences within the UK, he has presented over 500 seminars throughout Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Australia, New Zealand and North America. He has published over 10 books including the T.E.S. award winning book Educating Children with ADHD (2001), How to teach and Manage Children with ADHD (2002), Surviving and Succeeding in SEN(2005). Fintan trained as a secondary science and PE teacher after studying Zoology and Genetics at Sheffield University and remains fascinated by the impact of nurture and nature on human development. He was the Head teacher of the Centre Academy School, regarded as the first specialist school within the UK for children with ADHD/ODD from 1996 -2002.
Julie Harmieson Julie is presently the Director of Education and National strategy for TISUK and was a former Head Teacher of a School for Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. She has over 17 years’ experience as a qualified teacher in supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. She has a particular interest and expertise in supporting schools to develop a fully inclusive approach with both students and members of the school community, facilitating an environment where the mental health and well-being of all is central to the school ethos. Julie is delighted to be working with Trauma Informed Schools (TISUK) focusing on supporting professionals to understand and embed a whole school approach to good mental health and emotional well-being.
Della is the owner of Pulse training and development Ltd and has worked in the field of social and emotional learning for over 30 years with both children and adults. She focuses a lot of her time and energy on working with others to help enhance their self-awareness and self-management so they can learn to thrive whenever and wherever they choose. She is an advanced NLP master practitioner and uses this approach to develop The Five Core SEL- Competencies highlighted within the EEF · Self-Awareness · Self-Management · Social Awareness · Relationship Skills · Responsible Decision-Making
Lisa been working as a qualified professional well-being coach since 2014. Her focus brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in how to help people grow, develop, reach their potential and set themselves achievable and sustainable goals. She loves helping people to feel and perform at their best. Lisa will give delegates a chance to experience a pause from the busy day, practice some techniques of reflective journaling so they can go away, and use in their everyday life.
